Stewardship 2020
Dear Church,
2020 has been a year like no other! It goes without saying how difficult it has been on us all and in every way imaginable. Nevertheless, our church’s ministry has found a way to move forward and will continue to follow God into the new tomorrow being created. We will continue to be drawn in to give praise and glory to God in worship - whether it be in person or virtually. We will also continue to follow God out into our community and to share love and compassion with our neighbors. Our mission will not be stopped.
This is your invitation to join us in fulfilling our mission. We’re asking for your support of our General Fund for 2021. For those who have not pledged before, know that your commitment helps us to set vision and priorities for the year ahead. If you are already a pledging member, we are grateful for your continued generosity. We invite you to prayerfully consider growing your current pledge if you are able.
Whatever you give, remember that at First Presbyterian, stewardship is never just about money. We practice generosity as a way of life, as a spiritual discipline, and as a commitment to give back a measure of the gifts we’ve received. Through financial support and hands-on service, you can help sustain First Presbyterian not just in the year ahead, but carry our vision into the future.
You can return it to the church in a number of ways: Place it in the offering plate on Sunday; drop it by the church office (Tue & Wed 9am-1pm; Fri 1pm-3pm); take a “selfie” with it an text it or email to Barb @ 706-499-6382
/ fpcc.fin@hemc.net. Please return by November 29th.
Your contributions and offerings help us bless our families, our congregation and our community. Your pledge helps our ministry leaders make plans in faith to put those monies into action. A pledge to the church is a statement of faith that you acknowledge God’s indescribable gift to you deserves a response.
